Wispact offers grants to provide financial assistance for the benefit of Wispact Trust Beneficiaries.

Dear Beneficiary,

Wispact realizes that the federal government is now in the midst of an ongoing partial federal shutdown. While parts of the government are still funded, nine of the 15 federal agencies are affected by the shutdown. Essential services, such as public safety operations and Medicare payments have continued.

The shutdown should have little effect on Social Security checks. According to the Social Security Administration's shutdown contingency plan, most core programs and benefits continue in the event of a shutdown. However, delays may be impacting you or, at some point, funding for programs such as SNAP may be effected.

We want you to know that Wispact offers grants to provide financial assistance for the benefit of Wispact Trust Beneficiaries.

The financial assistance is provided through subsidy awards. These grants are available for a number of areas:

  • Assistive devices
  • Emergency services
  • Financial literacy courses
  • Funeral and burial services
  • Payroll service fees for caregivers
  • Transitional services for young and middle-aged adults
  • Transportation
  • Vocational support
  • Other costs of living expenses

To be eligible for a Wispact Grants Fund, you must be a current Wispact Trust Beneficiary. The award is based on several criteria including the amount of funds in the Beneficiary’s account and the degree of need.
